Well, it looks like the dome is flammable. Let us say goodbye to the smoldering ruin that is… Er, was Lizardtown.Granted they still need to get out, hopefully Jim has not sealed off all of the exits.If they do get out, our heroes have a very long walk ahead of them to get to the next wrinkle in their story.Unless the Topsiders see the smoke and come to investigate. They could be walking right out of the fire into the frying pan..I am almost willing to bet Jim survived this, fire is just a minor annoyance compared to being gassed and exsanguinated by digital amputation. Compared to those a little fire is just a minor setback.

Jim just created a giant Catherine Wheel.

That’s actually rather cool, although it’s even cooler that he seemingly intends it to kill him too. At least he won’t be able to do any more harm.

Dang. Maybe just a deluded raccoon after all. Maybe. It will be great to see Holly and Wally together again. They still have to get out…and probably with Chic and Irving. We may have lost the PT brain…unless the lizards have put it into something. Jim won’t be leaving with them. I wonder if we’ll see the last of Sarah. Will she roast with most of Lizardtown (name to be hopefully revealed soon)? Will she try to rejoin the Wally party? Will she survive to be a leader of whatever remains of the lizard place? She’s a “user”… but there won’t be anyone she can use to get anything. Not in this town.

Ack! Poor Jim! I can’t help but notice the fixture looks like the symbol for the sun. The Sol symbol, I guess. I wonder if that’s just coincidence or deliberate with the whole “I am God” spiral into madness Jim’s pulled off.

Holly is looking rather intently at something over her shoulder. Maybe the smoke is seeping in under one of the doors.

Good enough reason to leave, but the whole arena probably smells of burning raccoon by now, as well.

The Clash

I realize that “Lizardtown” is about to be destroyed, and Wally & Co. need to get themselves out of there. However……1. Queen Helena needs to be reunited with her son, Chic. She was, after all, the only one in the family who truly loved him..2. Sarah should be held accountable for her role in this. If she hadn’t turned her back on the man who had sacrificed everything so that she could have a chance at life, none of this would be happening..3. Piotr needs to rethink his relationship with Sarah. .4. A good number of the lizards should escape, if only to try and start over in places where their species is recognized as the ones who would dare to put themselves above others who only want to survive in this changed world.

I first heard it years ago, and associate it more with The Band . Upon researching, Dylan and The Band came up with it in the Basement Tapes.

I wonder if this is a ditto illusion. I think we have seen the dittos here CAN speak. This is just a bit too deranged for a sapient, sentient, verbal raccoon who used to be human-shaped… And yet we are looking at a lizard community. Around here, two hours east of the Astrodome, anole lizards can lose a body part like a tail, or a foot, or even an arm or leg, and after a process of de-differentiation can grow a new body part. So maybe Jim’s consciousness has de-differentiated into the cosmic consciousness, taking on parts, knowledge and characteristics of the universal consciousness in preparation for him to enter the pupal stage as a step in his schism syndrome on his way to becoming Barney the Purple Dinosaur in his incipient incarnation. maybe. Or it could be something slightly or completely different.

If I G+ a strip, does it go into the Google+ feed? Or do several people at G+ have to approve it?
