@Randy_B: THANK YOU! I had never heard of this before but I was reciting along by the third verse. What fun! I WISH I had known of this for my son, by I have three young nieces and a granddaughter who will LOVE this!
at least it was not “would you like to play with my balls?” that one is just funky
Just don’t let Hammy near Old Yaller, Sounder, Bambi or The Yearling, to name a few.
I’m still not sure why Verne doesn’t want Hammy reading the book. Was he worried Hammy would be scared when the family finds the bear?
