I just love Endtown!

Well, on the bright side, they got through!

On the bad side, maybe not in the state they wanted…

Looks like this exclusively-lizard utopia isn’t working out quite as well as anyone hoped…

Would seem the BBQ is a go! Who brought the tater salad?

Referee: “And, he’s DOWN! He’s down! He’s out for the count! They’re ALL out for the count! Keep counting!”

Kirbee, now would be a good time to get beyond Thunderdome.

The fourth panel is incredible in the way Aaron shows the chains and the burning lizards in the flames. It’s horrible but the horror is very well done.

The boxing ring of fire.

The bad side is that the fire is now downstairs with our crew. Things seemed better with them under the fire, under the superheated air and smoke. But now…

What a way to go.

Makes me think of a giant flaming plunger that the devil might use on his throne.

oh my…that is some spectacular artwork there Aaron….wow!

Well… They DID go out in a blaze, but it seems a bit short on glory… ;-)

That’s one image that’s searing itself into Holly’s and Kirbee’s memory…and is about to sear them literally if they don’t put some distance between themselves and the lizardman BBQ!

This is what happens when raccoons get in the house.

Kirbee is a ditz and a squamate to boot, but I don’t want anything to happen to her!

Kirbee still has Holly’s apron, though I doubt Holly would really want to wear it now.

It was bound to happen.Jim already knew that.The scary part is he told Wally he knew how Holly would die.Our crew next steps need to taken carefully.Wally needs to have his head in this game.It’s clear Jim is playing for keeps.

…annnd, the only survivors are the salamanders…

Considering Kirbee seems blissfully ignorant personality wise, seeing her fellow lizards going up in flames is going to be a raw wake up call.

There’s a bit of the Topsiders in all of us, that’s part of the beauty of Aaron’s writing.

Well… At least they got to look down on the outsiders one last time…

Mr. Neathery…from one cartoonist to another, you are cartooning genius! Your ink work and story telling are beyond cool! No sound effects needed to get the horror in just three panels!

And the lizards get their well earned desserts. Only change I would have liked was a more personal confrontation between Jim and Sarah, but who knows, the little guy has survived before. Would be great to keep the character alive, he has a lot of possibilities.

Based on the angle of panel 4, it looks like the ring of fire has busted through to the next floor down.

But did the raccoon survive? He’s already survived dismemberment and poison gas, what’s a little fire?

Did the lizard folk build their lair out of dry particle board and matzo crackers and sprayed it with kerosene?Seriously, where did they get the wood?All they have is earth, stone, and Amesworthstite, the stuff those pointy mountains are made from.One can only assume the latter is flammable in some form.Either way, Kirbee may just have become the last of her “kind” when the “Lights went down in Lizardtown”.She may be a ditz, but leans to the left a bit because of the obligation to compassion her femininity affords her.The chandelier crashing down is the final hammer blow on the coffin nails. Forever consigning Sauroville to the dim corners of histories failed empires.Jim got the fatal blow upon his killers, raining hellfire.“From Hell’s heart I stab at thee!”There’s still an escape from Sodom to be had, for this is not the end.But a new beginning..Pillar of lizard shaped salt anyone?

In panel 4, did anyone else think the hand looked human, not lizard like?? Great art, Aaron!
