I’ll stick to my slow cooker. (I made pork tenderloin with red wine & black berries, last night) delicious. With my luck, I would blow up my kitchen with a pressure cooker.
You couldn’t blow up the new pressure cookers. They have electronic controls and are plug in, free-standing, no on the stove biz. You need a pre-teen kid to translate the owner’s manual for you, though. Once you get past the culture shock, , they cook great!
I just made oven baked pork stew on Sunday, it had to bake for an hour and a half but the meat and vegies were so tender they practically melted in my mouth.
I once accidentally grabbed the wrong pork roast in the supermarket and got one with the bone in. After about sixteen to eighteen hours of cooking, you could even chew right through the bone..Nothing gets out of my kitchen still tough.

Good start, Opal, but you’re not really doing proper slow-and-low until you hit the thirteen-hour mark.

Barbecue pork next weekend in the slow cooker. In winter, we use it for soups. Mmmm.

I’ve never known anything to smell good with 8 hours to go before it’s ready.

Earl finally got it right… wish he would have said it to Opal’s face.

What can Earl do for 8 hours?
Take a nap for 4 hours and then take a nap for another 4 hours!
