Thanks heavens Eastern Orthodox have no vows. Neither do we have “til death do us part”.
Most churches have mandatory pre-marriage classes for that reason.

My wife insisted that the word “obey” be part of her vows to me. It’s been almost 20 years. She does fairly well; but nobody’s perfect.
