Hey, this is a new approach. Let Jon make a joke instead of always being the punchline.I like it.He is a cartoonist, successful enough to own a house and a cat that eats more than a pro football team, so he has to be funny.

Jon made a similar joke to Garfield a number of years ago, can’t remember exactly when. That time, his punchline was “…although you are big enough for it to.” And Garfield’s reply was “One shot at a time, please.”

I for one think the panels were spaced right. Gives the impression of good comedic timing.
