Looks like Andy painted the town green last night.

@beviThe rum cake reminds me of my grandmother. She was a staunch T.T. ( teetotler ) all her life. She disapproved of “strong drink” of any kind.That didn’t stop her from using a half a bottle of rum or whiskey to “soggy up a bit” the pound cakes and fruit cakes, she used to send me when I was in Vietnam. She was afraid they wouldn’t travel well and might dry out in transit ( fat chance ! ) so she was extremely generous with the liquid preservative.Needless to say, I was the most popular guy in the unit, when the care packages arrived from home.

Not quite. My one-eyed avatar came about because, at the time, I was going blind in my right eye because of cataracts.Thanks to the incredible Cuban doctors at the Ophthalmological Hospital here in Ecuador, I have complete sight in the eye and actually see better now than before I had cataracts.Oh,BTW. I met my wife at the hospital when I went for my initial examination. She was there checking on one of her clients.It was love at first sight ! I told her I always had an eye for the ladies. Now that I have two, they are focused only on her. She makes sure of that !

Credit where credit is due department: For a change, the art today was quite effective in making the joke work.Picky picky picky department: Although I personally would have made the first panel shorter (leaving out the brick wall) and the last panel a little longer, with a few more handprints. Even so, this one is the best in a while!

Wonder how the photographer got them all to stay still. When my hubby tried to take pictures of five of them, he could only get two in one spot at the same time. Have an adorable picture on a wall.
