I tried that on a lawyer friend once. Her response- It’s interesting that you’re spending so much time thinking about me, but now that you mention it, I think that you might be projecting.
I like Coyoty’s too! I would say “You’re right, and that is because so much you say is wrong, and you say it so offensively.”

Interestingly, a polite request for more information on either or both of the accusations, repeated a la Socrates, invalidates both!
I tried this “insult” on my son and he just laughed. I don’t think it phased him at all.
It actually works best within Scott’s circle of friends.
I believe an effective response might be, “So what?”
