Another plus with Bob…. you already know what he’ll pretty much look like at 65…His paunch or his bald head won’t surprise you when he turns 45…you’ll have been used to them since he was 10.
Still…. he’s very sweet-natured… and remains (so far) quite true to Agnes, despite her disdain.She can’t bring herself to like him… yet… she’s at an age where any attraction to boys is confusing, cos they’re so… icky….and even more so if he likes her cos liking an unpopular girl,,,, such as herself… makes him obviously a loser. One day she just might come to appreciate him, or else come to rue her rejection of him years before.
Bob is already wealthy, if being prepared for famine can make one so. --I, at that age, was not. People would stop me on the street and ask if I had enough to eat. And still, per the height-weight charts, I was well overweight. I maybe could have lost some weight by chopping off an arm or leg.
