Aside from all those things, he’s really not so bad.He doesn’t withhold his contribution to the overall gravity of the Earth.

Very interesting. Young Sedgie is suddenly becoming more and more reflective and thoughtful, and it’s all about pater! The senator is just a prop, and expendable (today, he sounds and somewhat looks like the current majority leader)….

Sedgewick has an uphill struggle as far as his personal development goes, since everything in his family seems designed to train him up to be a monster of greed and callousness. But he’s shown flashes of humanity before, and here he’s beginning to realise that his father is maybe not the best role model.

Trump is his father or Darth Vader? Maybe no difference.

Hey, here’s an idea! Let’s completely deregulate business, so a handful of sociopathic billionaires are free, free, free to buy and sell our freedom. Sure! Everybody is totally honest and honorable, aren’t they? Nothing bad will happen.

Sedge is an interesting observation of the effects of “nurture” and the struggle of one’s nature to find its way out. His empathy with Senator is a good sign, among others.

Sorry, one more: Sedgewick’s accurate skewering…er, description…of his father is an uneasy reflection on the aspiration of many wannabes in describing what some would consider virtues.

@BrassOrchid: It takes a village to raise your children. They belong to the Collective. The Collective is all wise. The Collective sees all, tells nothing. The Collective feeds, clothes and shelters you.The Collective is all that exists. There is nothing else.LOL Have a great day my friend.
