I’m hoping… apart from Pierre and Uncle Maurice (deceased), the wider Montrois family are as yet rather undeveloped. all we know for certainty from the back story is that she has another four brothers, one of whom is possibly gay, and that Mother is something of a “puce vielle” who only needs a convincing cackle and a broomstick. During the Revolution, in fact, Mme. Montrois may well have perfected her knitting skills at the foot of the guillotine (every woman needs a hobby) and, reading betwen the lines, is most probably the biggest single reason why her daughter travelled six thousand miles to get away from her.
What is going on with Mona? Tossing Hawaiian boy back for his own good, supporting Lucas during a bad time, and now she’s got Donna’s back for the wedding?????

I guess you missed that Sunday strip. Turns out all those times we saw Mona at her worst were really the times when she was making her monthly sacrifice.
To AgProv: Don’t count on it. I think the characters that are supposed to show up on the strip are set in stone. Unless they directly interact with Mona, they’re probably going to be “off-camera”.
