Dogs seem to instinctively know when you’re taking them to the vet rather than for a walk in the park.

You have to regularly pull the excess hair out of a Bichon Frise’s ears. After his first trip to the vet to do this he desperately didn’t want to even get in the car. The second trip was really bad. The third trip I had a pocket full of liver treats. One in the car, one in the waiting room, one on the table, and one after each ear. Ever since then he loves going to the vet and getting his ear hair pulled. He even wags his tail and runs up to her as the vet approaches, since I have her give him his treat after each ear gets treated.

We used to have a cocker spaniel that would actually brace his feet against the door of the vet’s office and he would have to be virtually dragged in. He was a wonderful dog, though.

Dry - went well! I have a 2nd part time job. I’m hoping between the two jobs, I MIGHT pull in 40hrs a week. I doubt it, but I can try. hahaha
