Zonker has the 99% vibe going. It’s the rich that are keeping him down. He just wants his fair share.

When you consider that J.J. ended up with Zeke, you wonder what happened to her standards.

Everyone seems to be on Zonks side, personally I would have kicked his sorry ass out a long time ago, cant stand freeloaders, especially complaining freeloaders.

Au contraire mon frère, neither Zonk nor anything remotely resembling Zonk are a part of a normal marriage deal, implied, inferred or expressed. No reasonable person should be expected to tolerate the nerve racking torture that is Zonk. So J.J., you go girl! Only the parents of Zonk should have him under their roof, as punishment for being responsible for his creation.

And to continue another thread… the prescription in the glasses changed in the fourth panel.

For once, when I read this, I understood why JJ left.

In some ways, JJ was a victim of circumstances. Not the only promising young person to turn out disappointing. It’s admirable that Trudeau can resist the temptation to make everybody likable forever.

Zonkers parents are in sf. They showed up one thanksgiving that introduced duke. As for joanie she took off because she hated her husband and wanted to live in a commune. You can’t blame a child for their parents action. JJ was 8 at most when her mom left with the road warriors(mike & mark). She had a chance to raise her daughter when her husband served divorce papers and declined.

We had a housemate for about a year. Nice person, but yeye drove me nuts. I can understand the problem. Your space is your space and having someone come in and try to rearrange it is unbearable. Housie is gone now. I’m happy except for flashbacks about coming home and finding stuff I told her I needed being thrown out…

JJ’s crazy as a run-over rooster, but ya gotta feel kinda sorry for her here.

So you would be perfectly happy if your wife’s best friend mooched off of you for money, camped out in your house and never got a job?
