Duh? The syllabus didn’t tell you book requirements? Duh?

Sadly, that is about the cost of a text book; That’s what I paid for the last one I bought!

I’m a cheapskate, if I can get it used I do (I love it when they come pre-highlighted).

That isn’t a bad price actually, especially if it’s new.

Sadly, that is about the price of a new textbook. Great if you can buy used. However, my oldest son is taking IT classes, so they are constantly changing the version of software, which requires a new version of the textbook….

That is the reason I passed on the scholarship I received in high school. Only $500. Would not have gone very far even in 1975!

When I was taking online classes for my Au.D. (doctor of Audiology) in 2000-2001, I had 1 book that was almost $200.

My mother was rereading her college letters to her parents, and mentioned how she moaned (in the 60’s) about an $8.50 math textbook. Talk about inflation!!

Many books that I’d like for independant reserch are much more.
