Many years ago on a trip to Los Angeles I was astounded flying over the Palm Springs desert area, seeing so many green golf courses. I thought about all the water they used.

To enlighten the unconscious, you must first get their attention. Brother Leo’s suggestion would be a great wake up call.

I know in southern Spain, if you want a green lawn, you contract with an aqua-non-potable service to come out and hose your yard on a regular basis. There was no odor, and the lawns looked amazing. Frankly, I think it should be a federal law that only non-potable water be used on all golf courses, parks and private lawns.

Actually, all the golf courses in Florida are going to be one big water hazard.

But golf pros need to earn their bread and putter.

I’ve been on Facebook too long. I keep looking for the “Like” button for this particular strip. Not to mention for just about every comment here.

Let’s just say I like this and leave it at that.

Sorry, Leo, that’ll never happen; if they can’t buy it, they’ll just steal it (google “Selleck”).

I might suggest wariness about trusting what the media say that Francis says. Often it is so simplified and out of context as to be simply wrong.
