Keep fighting the good fight…just try to do it in the mornings and early afternoons. Every so often one needs to step off the treadmill and Elly’s no exception. It’d be nice if she had a little help, though. Unless I’m missing something, hasn’t this been her battle alone?
I never felt guilty, and I’ve done both the working parent and stay-at-home options. I think everyone makes the best choices for them at that time, so why bother feeling bad about it?
The fact that you had concern for doing the right thing shows you were on the right path. I’m sure you did well. Too bad there isn’t a book that tells you how to be a good parent….you may have found the answer on Page 42.
You ‘stay-at-home’ moms make me sick. As long as you do your ‘work’ at home and take care of the family needs you should be able to go out and do something for your community with out feeling ‘guilty’. Take charge of your life and live.
I remember when my two kids getting old enough time back to technical college to learn a job skill, little I know my son then would pull off stuff to get into trouble. Daughter did okay.
