The intense concentration of self in and amongst a vast immensity of stars and planets, with a rocketing eye-shaped balloon to hang on to, this is going to be one wild trip to the light fantastic.

About the comic:This is certainly a quantum depiction. I wonder if Wally, being an Engineer is recognizing it.

It may look like Wally’s just holding onto a balloon, but he’s exploring string theory and inflation. And a whole lot of uncertainty.

It kind of looks like multiple habitable planets so Wally may have entered the space between parallel universes.

This is all probably in Wally’s mind, where hours can pass during minutes of “real” time. We last saw Wally and the group safe, so Wally’s actual body(and the rest of the group)are probably still safe.
