Michael, the distinction is whether other people actually WANT to see you act, or are just willing to TOLERATE your acting.

I’ve been backstage. No gold stars. You don’t even get a private dressing room in most places. Just 1-3 rooms lined with makeup stations and a changing area in the middle of each.
