Lawyers and social activists have done plenty of damage to the country. Anyone that grew up in the 50s or 60s, have you seen school playground equipment today? Lawsuits got rid of anything that could possibly let a child harm himself. Some may call that good, I say it took away a lot of life lessons. And enjoyment for the children.
One of the reasons I gave up instructing SCUBA diving was the cost of liability insurance, and the reluctance of local swimming pools to let me use the facilities for fear of lawsuits.
