I remember an old “Boy’s Life” comic where they demonstrated how old records could be used for target practice for both wing shooters and rabbit hunters. Unsupervised boys and guns, those were the days! At the NRA Museum in Fairfax, VA there is an exhibit demonstrating a boy’s bedroom in the 1950s, complete with a .22 rifle in a rack on the wall.
