Our first daughter was born 2 months after our 17th anniversary. We did not plan to wait that long. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait as long for her sister: only 2 years later.

I had to endure nearly forty boring years until my first kid came along.

My sister (65 years old) figured out that it only took her 7 months to come along. Her theory is that the 1st child can be born when ever it wants. The rest take about 9 months.

Yes, six years of boring spontaneous sex, surplus income, sleeping late…

Imagine their relief in 4 more years when she moves out.

In some cases there’s a lot to be said for boring.
