I had a friend who was sequestered for three days during a jury trial.. They then found the defendant guilty. By the time the jury finished their business and was released, the guilty defendant was leaving the parking lot in his car, having beat the jury out of the courthouse. Oh, yeah, the defendant got to spend the three days at home, whilst the jury were stuck in motel rooms.
In Judge Wapners…“Peoples Court” years ago…Rusty was the balliff…he chickened out when a defendant charged the court saying…"Wapner….you ain’t even a real Judge..Wapner stood up and said Rusty…get him……
