Pig: I've decided that from now on when I fly, I will only fly first class. They're nicer to you, serve you better food, and give you more space.
Goat: You don't mind paying the extra money?
Goat: Yes.
Pig: Life is one bitter surprise after another.

Have never flown first-class. Would be nice, but never had that luxury. Depending on the plane Economy can be nice or it can be extremely bad. Thought all Economy was the same until last September. Had to go out to California last week of August last year to help my sister with her dogs while she had to go out of town for a few weeks. Coming back east had to go from Fresno to LAX and found out the economy on the charter flight was a lot more cramped than on the bigger planes. Made Economy there seem more like First Class by comparison.

If man was meant to fly, he’d have been given a boarding pass.

Flew to Europe from Toronto last April; first time ever on one of those big airliners. I was envious of the first class passengers with their semi-bed set-ups. But, I know myself well enough to know I’m a cheap ol’ bas…..d and would never shell out the extra money.

If I ever fly again, I might pay the extra for first class. Of course the short commuter flights there really is no such thing.

It’s all first-class if you own the jet.

I flew 1st class once, it was great. It was cheaper then.

I was in the Marines during the ’60’s and flew standby whenever I went on leave. One time the only seat available was in first class, and I got it. Sweet.

My first duty assignment in the Air Force was Germany, and I flew from McGuire AFB to Frankfurt in a 707 with no windows and backward facing canvas seats. Every flight I ever took after that seemed like first class.

The way airlines are packing them in these days they should change the name to “Steerage”

Funny the last time I flew I felt like I was a pig squeezed tightly in with others in a truck headed to the slaughter house.

Got an upgrade once because AirTran put a brand new piece of luggage in a wood chipper.

As long as both first class and economy take off and land safely at the same time, I’m okay with either one. LOL

The University once gave me a grant to attend a conference in Ottawa. By the time they made up their minds to give me the money, the only seats left on the redeye were in business class. The grant just covered the difference in fare between coach and business class!

In 2007 I was planning a vacation to Tokyo. I had checked flights (economy) and found one for $1500 round trip. They, just for fun I clicked on First Class and the same flight had seats for $1700. Took about 7 miliseconds to make the decision to upgrade. 14 hour flight each way — wonderful.
My return trip started on my birthday in Tokyo — so when I got home I got to have my 50th birthday again. No, I did not claim to be 100.

I got bumped to First Class once, on a redeye mail run from SFO to Kennedy in NY. Back of the plane had the lights out, and seats full of bags of mail. First Class was only half-full, at that. Nice drinks, good company, everyone dressed up. Of course this was 1966; I was in uniform, headed back to USMA, and war protests hadn’t gotten public agreement yet.

Never flew first class. Once when I was waiting to get to the cheap seats, I surreptitiously caressed a first-class head-rest.
