I disagree. As much as I think Trump is unfit for Presidency, I thought Kelly was showboating and attacking Trump instead of trying to moderate a debate. Kelly’s attacks on Trump were an insult to the intelligence of 76 percent of the population. And Trump picked up a couple of polling points, perhaps because he was unfairly attacked. There were 10 candidates there. Everybody knows Trump is an a*******. How were the other 9 candidates supposed to respond to a personal attack on the other candidate. Kelly cheated everybody of the opportunity to hear debatable issues from all the candidates. If Kelly learns some respect and decency, she might be good enough for, I don’t know, maybe the View?
I thought the Fox examiners were fair and asked valid questions throughout. Trump obviously did a poor job preparing and had no answer for the most obvious questions he was going to be asked. Thought Kasich crashed and burned – his show will play poorly in red states, worse even than Christie. Although I am not a Huckabee fan, I thought he had the best performance of the group. Rubio looked good. My guy Cruz did ok, Walker and Bush and Paul underperformed. Carson saved a weak performance with a good finish. Would like to see Fiorina on the main stage.
They’re all scared to death of Trump, he’s not one of the ‘preapproved by the political establishment machine’ candidates. He’s no squish and he calls ‘em like he sees ’em , and they won’t have anyone they can’t control.
