Ralph: Whenever I make a note to myself, I can't decipher my own handwriting! So my family convinced me to make notes on my cell phone instead. Hammocks not fat. It's not off it's ouch. That's not working out so great, either!

I once dictated a list of Elvis movie titles into my cellphone. Was surprised that it had no problem with unusual words like “Clambake” and “Roustabout”, and was even smart enough to leave off the G in “Kissin’ Cousins”..The only one it couldn’t handle was “Live a Little, Love a Little”, which no matter how clearly I spoke came out as “Level Level Level Level”.

My husband likes using the voice recognition on his ipad mini for emails. He also mentioned that it seems to get really weird names & words, but quite often screws up ordinary words. Apparently it’s hard to correct them even by typing.

I hate auto-correct. Have to laugh at some of the it’s interpretations though.
