Well, I might need to return it some day, “in the original packaging”. Or I could use it for gift boxes for Christmas or birthdays. Or I could turn it into picture frames with a little decoration, Or…or…or….
We once helped move a fellow who had saved the ‘original packaging" from every item he’d ever bought. He had boxes for things he’d thrown away. AND he wanted to take them all with him.
We compromised by flattening them “to make them easier to stack” and then, just as we finished up, asked him what he wanted to do with that pile of cardboard. “Oh, toss it out.”

If you don’t mind the apple tax (an extra $200-$1000) they make solid products. Sadly I mind the apple tax…

Hate to admit it, but this describes me perfectly. Glad to learn there’s a name for it.

I still have mine, but it’s just to my current Apple items… in case I want a new one and sell the old one. :)

I still have some of mine (from iPods). It has enough eye appeal I hate to throw it away.
