    Depends on what you’re failing at. If your failure kills you, you don’t get a chance to try/fail again.

    This does not apply to the following:- Skydiving, Space Walking, Tightrope Walking Across Death Valley, Sword Swallowing

    Failure teaches but sometimes takes a terrible price.So one must weigh the price versus the benefits.Anyone can do something stupid then survive and think they accomplished something.We all have a 50/50 chance.The glory of it is this……..you can try if you want.

    Many years ago, when I was teaching the basics of skydiving, I would start the lectures with “Pay attention, you can only fail at this once.”
