Today’s strip was excellent.

Excellent writing, great dialog, perfect build up with the tension and — BAM!! — our Fritz Ann keeps it real.

I’m gonna miss the interaction between Sam and Fritz Ann, but I love how they’re still gonna be friends. I love that she’ll be sticking around. But I’m with AnyFace… I can’t wait to see what happens this weekend (hoping for an appearance by Rikki Mortis, actually)(

I think Sam is a little disappointed.If there was ever an ego crusher of a line, it’s being called “a pal” by someone you were soooo close to kissing.

I agree with Jim and was thinking that Joe and Mike just killed a great story arc with the ole “We can still be friends” line.

“Flirted?” I think what Fritz Ann was doing at first was a lot more than that!

I think the interaction between Fritz Ann and Sam will remain the same. Now that they have cleared the air and defined their relationship, I can see the flirtatious banter continuing as mere jest. They can have some fun with it now, knowing that it won’t lead to anything involving infidelity.

Gweedo, what happened to Puzz and Otto, by the way? I missed them both! Even Av misses Otto the way I miss Marty & Spud Inc.

I recently ran afoul of the Gocomics moderator due to a post I made about three years ago (while I was in their “Phantom Zone” for another infraction), and that has put me in their “penalty box” again for the last couple of weeks. I really hope they explain what happened with the gold. This mystery of the gold has been going on for months and it would be nice to know such things as how they got the gold out of the train shaft, how it was intercepted by the Blackhearts and where all of it is now. It should only take 1 strip to explain this satisfactorily. Then I hope we get something definitive as to what happened to all the captures and casualties. That Punjab sequence was a bit vague.
