Ho ho ho! Oh, boy! Are we going to meet all the disparaging older brothers? The Five Naysayers? Pierre; Jean Jacques; Richard (does Mona have a girl-mustache?)…. Two to go=Friday and Saturday strips! This is rich [pardon the pun]!

Poor Mona Nobody will seem to want to help her.

No wonder why she confides in M. Smokey.

Mona, I can’t believe I’ve mostly been sorry for you as a teen, but I don’t forgive criminals because they had a neglected childhood. I know who (what) you grow into. It’s like looking at a baby Godzilla and saying, “Oooo, isn’t he cute? Does baby need a blankie?”

Will I ever have the nerve to say, “Go wax your lip”?

I feel stupid but, are these sketch styles “the past” or has the style just changed?

(I’ve not visited her for awhile)

Mona could have used his help. Maybe she would have turned out a bit different than what she is now. But then the strip would be called “The Meaning of Mona”.

Anyone who avoids talking during exfoliation is taking it to extremes.
