Alien: So you remember that multiuniverse simulation I was working on? Frank The one you're running on that old smartphone? Alien: Precisely. Take a look at what the sims are doing. Frank: Whoa. They've built their own simulation. Alien: Who knows how deep it goes, Frank. Artificial fractal multibrachiated realities! Frank: And to think, none of them realize the true nature of their existence. Alien: Stupid savages. Let's mess with them. Frank: Can you program a Volcano to erupt rabid dogs?

We have that rabid dog spewing volcano here in our own universe..We call it election time!

And so it took him six days to program the simulation.And on the seventh day, he played it.Unfortunately, his code documentation was poor. As it was transcribed from platform to platform and amongst many player communities, many of the function calls were corrupted. The sims argued about the meaning of the dog volcano. Were rabid dogs to be worshiped? Or to be shunned? Were women permitted to wear hats while on the flanks of the volcano?
