Wanna go outside and throw the ball for me?! Have you looked outside?!? It's pouring!! Wanna go outside and run through the puddles? Now you're talking!
My current dog despite supposedly being a hunting breed (Plott Hound), will not go out in anything more than a light drizzle and then only if I do too. Once out, she then raises each paw three or four inches with each step; odd dog.
As a kid I loved to be out in the rain, sometimes. A couple of times, when the parents weren’t home, the worse the storm the better, with the wind, and lighting, and thunder… It’s only by God’s mercy I lived through it.

Rover, what are you thinking? My boys hate rain, and won’t go anywhere near puddles!

You’d never catch me out there unless I have to be.
