A sunny day to all those who need it and a rainy day to those who need it.-——————-Jack should know better by now.-——————-Be healthy, wealthy and wise everyone.
Words do matter. One of my all-time favorite Andy episodes is the following, and I quote: A copper is confronting Andy, who is on his way home from his home-away-from-home. “My, my, we are sloshed, aren’t we?”“I’ll have yer know I’m NOT sloshed, I’m just intoxicated!”“Oh. welllll then…..I won’t pinch yer, I’ll just apprehend yer.” The copper then grabs Andy by the scruff of his coat to haul him away, and Andy, looking inordinately pleased with himself, says, “I should think so, too!”
Andy is being considerate-he could have just opened his mouth under the tap instead of refilling his glass.—-My brother and I did this during our depraved childhood when someone left the soda concession wagon unlocked at a local fair. (Payback was one heckuva bellyache after-still can’t stand the taste of Mountain Dew.
Sorry, Andy! Even though he might not catch you in the act, he WILL be able to smell it on your breath; especially the way YOU drink! And you’ll be toast for sure!

Jack should’ve gone with a smaller word which would make Andy understand.

@afficianado—-I think there is YouTube video of the real Flying Scotsman (steam locomotive) train. Didn’t it break some speed records in the UK?

Flying Scotsman video—I guess it was the “Mallard” that broke the speed record—also available on YouTube.

Hey, when an alcoholic wants a drink badly enough, he/she WILL find a way to get it! And another, and another…

Isn/t “misappropriate any beer” a polite way of saying purloin the porter ? Or maybe, in words Andy could understand: Nick the Newcastle ?
