There is no hostage situation here that I see. If anything, Gertie is holding criminals at bay until help arrives. Trust me, if it were me at the other end of that Louisville Slugger, dem boys would be sportin’ welts the size of softballs by now. She sure has a lot more patience than I do concerning home invaders.
I have known folks like the Pyes. Don’t trust them any farther than you can throw them!
Years ago we came upon a mother and daughter we tried to help. The town we lived in to small for ones to work. Bank would not work with this mom who needed transport to find a any job. Family she had wouldn’t help her I guess not enough money. We did and she got work help. Then tried to take advantage, we cut her off, that mom did move on then out of small town. Her daughter managed to get in all type of trouble from school to starting fires, to break ins. Glad to see them gone.
HectorPriam, they have been living in that house for more than a month, hiding in the attic when Walt & Gertie were up and moving around. Gertie said she heard noises at night. I assume that’s when they were out of the attic, using the “facilities”. I assume they used a shower as well or Gertie would have been able to find them by the smell alone.
Gertie needs my dogs. Wouldn’t have made it this far. And the perps would be missing some cloth at various places in their clothing, if not flesh. My LadyBear does not like strangers.
