Monty by Jim Meddick for October 08, 2015
Transcript:
Much like Batman, we open with a flashback to a formative childhood experience of crime... Action! Frederick! I cannot find my favorite pearl necklace!... I bet the maid took it! Give it back this instant or you're fired! But sir, I didn't take it! So this changed 1% man into a crime fighter? Yes... Yet in a plot twist, it turns out the necklace wasn't stolen!... Just lost in a roll of fat on auntie Nell's neck... But by that time 1% man had already made a costume... Director

Auntie Nell’s neck-fat did it! Arrest her neck! —Or, let One Per Cent Man take care of her, permanently….

This looks more like the origin of Oswald Cobblepot.

I have no doubt that this is probable.

Of course, once the costume was already made, there’s no going back…

I think Sedgewick should have his own strip.

If all the objectionable snobbish traits of cashed up kids I’ve ever met were put into one person Sedgewick would be the result. Strangely, this loathsome creature gives yet another reason why ‘Monty’ is my favorite strip. Also appreciate each ‘Monty’ panel being individually drawn, not just the same figures in each with eyes and mouths altered as seems to be the trend more and more in comic strips. Thanks Jim Meddick.@joegeethree, almost agree, although I like the surprise of this little twerp appearing now and again.

Sedgewick looks so cute in his little diapers and bonnet. I don’t know why he’s wearing them but he looks cute in them none the less.

even the bonnet doesn’t help much, Sedgy is just got the face only His mother could love.
dmkief about 9 years ago
Even Sedgy’s mother doesn’t seem to love him, she never appears or is even mentioned in the comic.
