I have always taken the frame behind the desk to be a graph showing the health of the company. If that is the case, he must be doing something right.
I have worked for a Family owned business before, and that’s exactly how it works. I wasn’t a member of the Family, I left after 18 months for double my wages and a promotion to Tri-State manager position.
Given the size (age?) of those, I guess this is an example of kneepotism.
