The Grandfather Verses With the pharaoh's army closing in, they were trapped by the red sea. It seemed to be hopeless. "Have we been forsaken?" Moses cried out. Suddenly, storm clouds appeared and a voice boomed from above... "No, Moses, I will part the waters for you" "How?" Moses asked. "No time to explain", the Lord said, "Now stand up and..." ...Pull my finger! *heh-heh* Girl: I've noticed that yourrenditions of bible stories all end the same way, gram-pa. Grandma: Grandfathers work in not-so-mysterious ways, dear. Grandfather: Whatever. Now, do you want to see a miracle or not?

Would have made the bible a lot more interesting for generations of children. Let’s see – Joshua knocking down the walls of Jericho, David and Goliath, many possibilities here.

….and don’t forget the campfire scene in “Blazing Saddles”. I was surprised a big firestorm didn’t occur in THAT camp.
