As a young lad in England going to the dentist was a treat, in that when you were through you were given a bag of sweets. Good way to get you back later on.

My dentist had a TV next to the patient’s chair. He would do dental work during the commercials!

Does that mean Rover will know not to meet Red at the bus stop?

I never minded the dentist. He’d look in my mouth, say, “No cavities,” and, “you need to take better care of your teeth.” Brush them with his motor tooth brush. Then tell Mom, “See him in 6 months.”

I want my dentist to put a TV on the ceiling above the chair, so I can watch the news or something while he or the hygienist is working! I am tired of counting the holes in the ceiling tiles…

Back in the day, my dentist gave out kid friendly trinkets. My favorite was a silvery oval ring that had horizontal wings with a vertical propeller through the middle. 40 years later, I had the image tattooed on my left arm at the shoulder. I really liked Dr Barco!

I loved my dentist and going too, but then I brushed after every meal and he loved that I did that.
