The worst insult you can give anyone is to call him an optimist..A pessimist looks at the world in realistic terms. An optimist looks at dreams.

A pessimist asks can it get any worse and the optimist responds yes it can.

Yes, yes, it can!—But isn’t that the ultra-pessimist?

And optimist may not be a realist, but I don’t think a pessimist is automatically a realist, either. Reality doesn’t always fit a preconceived notion.

The optimist believes that this is the Best of all Possible Worlds…The pessimist fears this is so.

a pessimist is resigned…an optimist is hopeful…..

A pessimist sees everything as getting worse and worse and drives everyone nuts while moaning about it constantly (while boasting about how realistic he is).An optimist sees everything as getting better and better and drives everyone nuts telling them how rosy things are (while also boasting about how realistic he is).A realist simple realizes that being happy with his life, no matter whether it is good or bad, is entirely up to him.

A pessimist sees the glass as half empty. An optimist sees the glass as half full. The realist see that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

I don"t see the glass as half full or half empty. I just see it as a half a glass of water, not sure what that makes me, :;-I
