Dean: And now observe...how to make a Halloween costume from the contents of one's pocket... Dean: Yes, some black fuzz and a burnt cork... Dean: ...viola! Edgar Allan Poe! Heart: Why do you have a burnt cork in your pocket?
I watched a show about Poe last night. Turns out he wasn’t the tortured, drug addicted alcoholic we all think of him. He had given a bad review to an anthologist, and after Poe died, the anthologist went on a smear campaign that permanently colored our perception of Poe. Funny thing is, the guy was trying to make Poe obscure, and instead made him one of the most popular writers of his day posthumously.
A child should have a pocket!Supposin’ on the roadHe should come across a beetleor a lizard or a toad? However would he carry it,whatever would he doif he didn’t have a pocket to put it into?
