This reminds me of an episode of The Tonight Show back in Johnny Carson’s day; he showed a newspaper clipping with an announcement for an agoraphophcs meeting, then he added, “Who’s going to show up?” (Almost needless to say, quite a few agoraphobics let him have it in the next few days.)

That’s me, except I can ‘handle’ it for short periods of time (a few hours) but then need to spend a couple of weeks home alone to make up for it.
