My father has a subscription to the BYU alumni magazine. I submitted my mother’s name to the memorial section (she graduated in 1975 and died the autumn of 2004) which was published in the summer 2005 edition which I still have.

ny high school graduating class of 1958 has lost only 163 outof 897of us, which seems pretty good odds, I still cringe when I see the name of somebody I knew well, though. The early ones were in Vietnam.

Just check to see if it’s you. If it’s not, then enjoy yourself until the next issue comes out.

That’s eggsackly what I’ve been saying for the last decade or so. My 1957 class news (MIT) is mostly a string of obits these days. But there are still a hardy bunch of us who show up at reunions every five years.

I read the local obituaries to see how many of the deceased are younger than me. When I meet a peer, we often talk about medications and medical conditions. It’s almost time to take the long bridge to nowhere…

I graduated in 1976, and we already lost 10 classmates out of 160. So sad
