I use a sleeping bag rated to -15 F on my army cot. Nice and warm and comfortable, no matter the temperature. Oh, my bedroom has no heat and I like to leave the window cracked open just a hair. Makes for great sleeping in the fall and winter. People think I’m crazy, but it works for me!!

I was once told by a guy at work that he never turned the heat on in the winter because he had so much computer equipment running in his little apartment. He said he often even had to open the window! Not sure if I believe it.

The whole south side of our house is windows, We get a lot of Solar Gain. Now if the sun would only shine! Unfortunately we get a lol of sun in the summer and not so much in the winter, so…………

True story -last dog would do a body butt shove me while sleeping against me(in the winter ) One night I pulled the corner of the blanket over her .She raised her head and looked at me and laid back down and never moved the rest of the night .

It is obvious that you don’t a small dog – they are burrowers. They are heat seeking parasites.

He’d love it here in SoCal—it’s gotten above 80 nearly every day for the last 6 weeks. On Oct. 9 it was 108 in my town!!! (broke every record for any day since records started being kept)

Shouldn’t he have said “C cell” or even “C-Kennel”?
