Uncle Ted: I'm going out - I have some old friends I need to express my gratitude to.
Brutus: Oh, are you taking them out to lunch, Uncle Ted?
Uncle Ted: No - I'm going to pay them a visit in the cemetery.
Yes, thank you to all the veterans out there who are still with us, and I hope those now ‘sleeping in the dust’ will find a flower or two on their final resting places…
It’s not a day to be picky. Even though it’s a day to thank the living and active military, it’s a blessing that people thank the living and the ones that didn’t make it back. Panama Canal Zone ’68-"70. Not all of us went to Vietnam, some of us had to watch the other place. Thank you all for the acknowledgement.
1st comic of the day I read that had something to do with veterans day, way to go…thanks to those who served their country in a non elected position way.

It is not often that a comic strip touches the heart. This one did. My compliments.
