My phone is on. The volume (and vibration) is turned off.

Cuz we forget where we put the charger.

Sounds like what my sister-in-law says to my brother-in-law, six days a week. The seventh day she knows where he is—same place she is—in church ! ! !

This absolutely is me. Sometimes I leave the phone in the car, sometimes go home and leave the phone in the office. Just say: Oh well, I’ll see if I have any messages when I get back.

I fit this one to a “t”. My phone is right now out in the car in the garage where it will do the most good……

“We only use it in case of emergency!” Well, parents, what if you are not home, and the emergency is OUR emergency and WE need to get in touch with YOU at a moments notice? (Has happened)

That’s my problem! So I have to have the earwig on all the time if I’m expecting someone to call. THAT one even I can’t miss.

Gracious sakes alive, how did we ever get so far on this planet without all this technology at our disposal?

Got a text today from a friend who tried to reach me yesterday, but no answer! (left phone at home) Sounded aggrieved. People should remember that phones are like people who solicit at the front door – sometimes they’re ignored, sometimes you’re just not home!

I occasionally leave mine at home, deliberately!

I never, ever wanted to be available for conversation 24/7. Never in my whole life! I do not comprehend today’s young’uns, not even a tiny bit.
