Check out this nice “DH” mention on the Defenders of Wildlife website. This is a great organization and it turns out, people who defend wildlife are really nice! Go figure. http://www.defendersblog.org/2010/07/daddys-home-in-the-gulf/

And Earthshare chimes in for the Gulf and “DH”! Another great website and organization. People who save the planet… also nice! http://www.earthshare.org/2010/07/gulf-oil-spill-in-the-comics-.html

Take mass transit. Auto emissions kill more wildlife than oil spills. Stop blaming others. Do you have to park 30 feet from your office, or could you ride the bus 30 miles? Oh but it’s inconvenient waiting for the train. Yeah, it’s inconvenient for the kids in my city dying of lung diseases too cause you’re to lazy to leave your pollution machine at the park and ride.Yup Big Oil’s fault, nothing to do with you.

I agree Lewreader. You’ll notice that many of the organizations featured in this week’s strips advocate all of the things you’ve stated above anything else. There is much to do. The choice of WHAT to do is ours to make.

I really love this strip and now I love it more….

It is good to know where to send contributions.

I can’t even comprehend what is going on along the Gulf, and how it affects us all.
