Yeah, those Cabbage Patch dolls were butt-ugly. But a lot of people loved them.And there have been a lot of uglier dolls since.The Bratz dolls about 10 years ago looked like teen hookers.

She once thought you were cute, john, That’s been awhile, though.

You have to get the Christmas spirit.

Furbies. I risked life and limb to get my two girls each a Furby. It was a riot. And then they played with them for MAYBE a week…..the things we do for our kids. Many years ago but still a vivid memory.

Have not been keeping up with where in time the strip is currently, but as soon as I saw this, I knew it was from the Cabbage Patch days. I had a boy, so did not have to worry about this, but I had a friend who was ecstatic when she scored one of those sorry little excuses for dolls.
