Hello. everyone. Yesterday was begging day at WalMart. We got a bunch of cat food donations and sold several of the Christmas kitty mats that LROS sent to me. We sold a few of mine, too.

Beviek, Our Cat Poodle, does this “the water is dirty so I am burying it!” routine everyday. Even when it is fresh or when she thinks she is done with it.

I know I don’t post often on here, but I read it every day! The reason I’m posting today, is after about 2 years of research and study and watching and reading 10 Cats and comments, I FINALLY brought home Furby last night. Furby is about 6 1/2 years old a grey and white female, who is currently feeling VERY shy and hiding out at the bottom of the linen closet in the bathroom or alternatively sleeping in the shower (I presume Fiberglass is warmer than tile). There is of course a blanket from her former home, a snugly kitty bed, water and food and a discreet open litter box, but she has not used or done anything with those. Patience is the name of our game. The Good News is she came a bit out and let me pet her at 3:00 am this morning, and again when I came in with her breakfast at 6:30. She hasn’t eaten anything yet though. So pray for me and Furby (I don’t know about the name, but hesitate to change a name on an adult cat!) I’ll post pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it.:)

Congratulations on the new cat! Was she from a shelter or did she come from a home? Patience is good as are pets even if they are at 3am. Do you know what she was eating before? She should start eating once she feels settled. You will get lots of advice here so stay tuned.

No, up here a bluebell is a bluebell. Also, it’s back bacon, if you are talking about the brined pork loin. Bacon is still bacon.

Poppet Bear and Last Rose, physio went OK. It’s for the arthritis in my knees. I have 3 more sessions and then government funding runs out. I have exercises to do 3 times a day

Thank you everyone for all of your encouraging comments! I went grocery shopping and to the library and got gas, and when I came home Furby was still in her closet. I didn’t realize they could go without eating for more than a day! She hasn’t used the kitty litter box either:( Her former mum gave me some of her toys and a blanket but she won’t go to any of them. Ok, I’ll have to breath here….

About the kitten in the shelter. Linda said NO this morning. But we will be taking it to PetCo on Fri so a few more days won’t be horrible. It’s probably lonely because it’s sibling got adopted.

Susan is going to bring me a different one tomorrow PM after it’s been fixed. It’s about 7 months old.

That should be foster(ed). I hate it when my fingers type faster than my brain!
