Hmm. Shoddy, one sided work on a subject. Followed by refusing to discuss your poor effort by closing yourself away. Michae Binkley, you are turning into a true academic.
Unfortunately, all the dna tests have proven is that someone in TJ’s LINE had relations with Sally Hemmingsl that person could have been a cousin of Thomas Jefferson. So this strip is slander, in my opinion. which is a shame, because BB can be very funny without such cheap tactics.
Is Binkley uncomfortable carrying around pictures of Thomas Jefferson (or George Washington or Andrew Jackson) on his money? (Alexander Hamilton was also a philanderer, for that matter……)
@J Sisak: There is no way to conclusively prove anything one way or another, but historians have collectively concluded that Jefferson is likely the father of Hemings’ children. As this is the generally accepted historical record, Binkley has every right to assert what he did.
Why do people always seem to have to get their knickers in a knot? Do personal foibles from 200+ years ago really make any difference today? Shake any presidential family tree hard enough and you’ll find skeletons. Just enjoy the comics and savor the puncturing of a few inflated modern day biases.

No space is safe. That’s your lesson for today, young Binkley. Your grades had better start improving with today’s lesson….

Sorry Binkley, that “safe space” stuff doesn’t work for the privileged class.

Well obviously Binkley doesn’t live in Texas; in the Texas School districts, you get extra credit for trash talking Thomas Jefferson

If he wrote all the PC stuff about Thomas Jefferson the teacher probably would have given him an A.
