Thanks for volunteering to help out Ray!
Any excuse to visit mortimer!
Is this the best christmas or what?
Ray...are you crying?
Ironically, It my first time being surrounded by the cops without the use of tear gas! sniff!
How about if we compare violent crimes per capita? Does the “ratio” still hold up? I have a hard time believing the police are targeting blacks. There may be a tendency to react differently to a black alleged perpetrator, but who’s to say that is not a learned behavior? My issue is with people reacting to the news media without thinking about what they are reading. “MY GOD! I should be offended by this! I WILL be offended by this! Hey! I’m offended!” Nevermind any extenuating circumstances that may exist. Nevermind that the lives they may be destroying may not be guilty. Nevermind that there is already a process in place to handle these matters, and that that process must necessarily take an amount of time that is greater than “NOW!”. An emotional reaction is rarely the correct one, as it is unreasoning. But that is what we keep seeing, and praising, in the media. It is what Black Lives Matter and other organizations of that ilk are preaching, and why I can’t support them.
OK. Rant off.
Mr. Armstrong, thanks for including Ray in the celebration. The man has paid his debt. And given up his dog to keep from breaking a child’s heart. That speaks more to the place he is in than anything the government can say about him.
bawanaIf you had said it before the Black Lives Matter protest, it would not have be racist. Saying it after, is a negation, and is racist in most contexts.

I love the stories of acceptance and redemption that run through this strip.
