Here in Canada I received the opposite of this, saying hello to or smiling at someone from the Bahamas got me some hostile looks and or snubbed. I’m dealing with. I’m autistic so I don’t understand this. I was also treated to an outburst of rage while, carrying 2 industrial sized coffee carafes’ and suffering painful frozen shoulder, I needed to set them down at the coffee maker where a delicious looking pie sat. I asked the Sunday school teacher if he could move the pie but before I could compliment his wife on her baking, He yelled at me NO. After I set the pot down in another spot he tossed it into the sink. He did not choose to talk to me about the gossip, lies, my words that were twisted into something ugly to keep us at odds by controlling narcissists . I was also yelled at later for trying to make amends when I wasn’t the instigator. I was only the coffee maker. He had the important job of teaching children in front of whom he had a mad loud outburst. That was the plan of the narcissist who twisted my words, adding and leaving out just enough to make me appear bigoted.

Just so you know, not all altercations are the fault of the ‘evil white woman’.

And sometimes you just end up next to an introvert who doesn’t want to be bothered. My brother is an introvert, rarely goes out, and when he does, he doesn’t like anyone talking to him. Me, I like people! I’ll chat the whole day with you!
